Featuring all the breakthroughs of the Flow and taking them another step further - the Flow Master Reference is the Argento Audio masterpiece.

To offer higher performance than the Flow cables the Flow Master Reference relies on a combination of solutions made for the Flow line, solutions made specifically for the Flow Master Reference as well as substantially increased cross section.

However none of the fundamentals have been changed compared to the Flow so the tonal balanced and the  qualities associated with Argento Audio remains intact.

The Flow Master Reference is simply - In the words of many customers that have gone from the Flow to the bigger sibling - "More". Not just a little here and there but a rather a real step up in performance while retaining the beauty of the Flow.

The main features of the Flow Master Reference cables:

  • Three-time as many conductor strands than in the Flow.
  • The cryo and polishing process is now a triple process.
  • Each polarity is travelling in its own completely separate cable with VDMTM.
  • The incorporation of separator spacers maximizes anti-vibration performance and outside disturbances sensitivity.
  • Annealed parts for even improved contact and reduced resistance.
  • Each one-meter pair of Flow Master Reference interconnects contains no less than 70 custom designed, CNC machined parts.

“The best audio cable you can buy?”

With the Flow Master Reference, what once was a bold statement is now a mere statement of fact.

The Flow is truly the sum of our experience in cable design and offers a breadth of qualities that is simply not available from any other manufacturer.

In the development process every aspect of our Serenity cables was reconsidered and optimized.

For the Flow we use a large number of extremely thin conductors made of high purity annealed silver.

To further optimize the  performance from these conductors they are cryo treated and polished twice for the absolute best surface quality.

Using many conductors increase the importance of the correct geometry and insulation.

The geometry used in the Flow cables insures that all of the conductor are of exactly equal length. This guarantees that the conductors work as one cable instead a multitude of small cables of different lengths creating a smear in the signal.

Audio cables from other manufactures use either, air, plastic or cotton or a combination of these to insulate the conductors. All claiming that it provides the very lowest dielectric constant and therefore is the best suited for the task.

At Argento Audio we have taken a different approach to choosing the right insulating material for our products.

In our opinion the dielectric material not only has to insulate it also as to provide mechanical damping.

Our answer to these requirements are VDMTM which is short for "Vibration Damping Material".

This material  reduces microphonics and completely removes the “traditional” hyper hifi sound that the usual dielectrics creates in audio cables.

To ensure that the interface between the cable and the electronics is as close to perfection as possible we developed a range of new connectors for the Flow cables.

Our connectors are machined to the highest standards and the contacts in the connectors are machined from rods of solid high purity silver.

The connectors are attached to the conductors by compression to provide a silver-to-silver interface rather than introducing a low conductivity material such as solder.

Because of the material choice and design the Flow cables are extremely flexible making them easy to install.

We invite you to visit one of our dealers and experience the performance and craftsmanship of our products.

Over the years, the Serenity line of cables have made Argento Audio's reputation among the audiophile community for uncompromising technical quality, and unchallenged sound performance.

The Serenity Signature which is the third generation of Serenity cables from Argento is the beginning for Argento but the performance achieved in this line is still clearly higher than virtually all competing cables at any price point.

In the words of two reviewers from the Norwegian magazine "Fidelity" issue 66 Fall 2017

"This cable was ready for a short test when the editor decided that we just as well could try it out along with the others on the Magico’s. The cable looked expensive, but it was claimed that is was reasonable compared to the new Transparent and Nordost Valhalla. Either way, in the course of a few seconds we perceived this cable to so far be the evening’s best. And that with an almost perfect balance between full sound and crisp details along with an enormous, but still clearly defined space. The reproduction can just be described as completely wonderful, and the depth perspective almost infinite. Also entirely superior in the bass. Here, there’s really body and gravity along with an exceptionally ingratiating sound of violin. And what a resolution: I really got startled when we turned on our usual Joni Mitchell disk and we for the first time could really hear her draw her breath through the complex orchestra intro before the intonation."

"Wonderful! Fantastic calmness and order in the sound image from the very beginning. Also excels with utmost clean details, without being sharp in any way. Great balance between resonance and clarity. The evening’s most “accurate” on Chesnokov, where the mentioned rasp in the overtone structure is less palpable than in the previous, without letting any of this diminish transparency or holography. Splendid depth, but possibly slightly less precise than Valhalla in regards to placement of the different performers. This being relatively insignificant, as the general feeling of stillness in the sound image is increasing. Maybe it also has the most distinct definition and articulation in the Joni Mitchell cut. Here, nothing is missing in general dynamics, and the music is flowing lightly, relaxed and at the same time very rhythmically. Briefly said, an astoundingly good speaker cable, with pronounced, organic sound. For undersigned, without much doubt the one that all in all seems like the most “proper” in this set up. "

Main features of the Serenity Signature cables.

  • The conductors are made of the purest silver featuring a quasi ribbon geometry, but have no edges resulting in a close to hyper-elliptic shape.
  • The dielectric/vibration damper is the proprietary Argento Audio VDMTM (Vibration Damping Material), drastically removing any usual dielectric ill effects, along with an optimized vibration control.
  • One of these conductors is used for each polarity in the interconnector and several for each polarity in the speaker cables.
  • All conductive parts are cryo treated with liquid nitrogen.
  • All connectors are similar to the Flow connectors with the exception of the dielectric material.

The Serenity Signature line is available in:

RCA and XLR analog interconnectors,

US, EU, 15 and 20 amp IEC power cords and

OEM

10 years ago Argento started the development of our own XLR and RCA connectors with contacts made of solid fine silver.

The process of developing our own connectors have given us both design and manufacturing experience in this field of the audio industry which have now enabled us to introduce the Tru-Socket XLR sockets - the only XLR socket in the world using solid silver contact and set screw connection.

Further, we have designed a novel and cost effective binding post with unparalleled sound quality, contact pressure and ease of use – to see this binding post in action please view the video in this section.

However the potentially most interesting offer we have for the manufactures of true high end equipment is the possibility of having custom connectors/sockets made for use on speakers or electronics. An example of the such a product is the binding posts on the Tidal speakers including the Tidal Assoluta

In case of the Swiss company CH Precision we have even made a complete line of cables marketed under the CH Precision name. In addition CH Precision also uses Argento binding posts and internal cabling. CH Precision cable By Argento Audio.

Another example of the work we have done for other brands is the products we helped design for the brand Essence. Essence is currently being represented exclusively by Audio Exotics Of Hong Kong and the brand will focus only on products designed by the very best within each type of audio product.

We look forward to the next projects for Essence.
